Duke Gardens engagement: Cassie and Sam
Beautiful setting and wonderful couple
I really enjoy engagement sessions, because it gives me a chance to get to know couples and for us to get comfortable with each other. However, from the very first time I met Cassie and Sam, I felt like we were old friends. We all just clicked, and I think you can see in the photos how relaxed and comfortable they were during the shoot.
Neither of them are from this area, so they wanted some suggestions on pretty settings for outdoor photos. One of my favorite places to shoot is Duke Gardens in Durham. It offers so many different settings for photos, and any time of the year you can make beautiful photos there. It’s been pretty hot recently, so we met early to try beat the heat, but the humidity still got us. Still, their great personalities made the photos exceptional. I can’t wait to shoot their wedding at The Stone Chapel in Wake Forest this Fall!
