Jessica and Robert travel. A lot. Like 30-plus-weekends-a-year a lot. Both work in NASCAR, and during the season they spend more time on the road than at home. So, of course, their Charlotte wedding in December during the NASCAR off-season was certain to be an epic affair.
With help from Tami, my second shooter for the day, we were able to capture all the beauty of the service at Caldwell Memorial Presbyterian Church. Thanks to Ann Alford with the church for allowing me access to an area that provided photos I usually don’t see during the service.
After the service, the party got started at The Mint Museum Uptown. What an awesome location for a wedding reception, with its terrific views of Uptown Charlotte. The terrific location made for terrific pictures.
A special thanks to Elizabeth and Sara at Hall & Webb Event Design, who made all the logistics of the day run smoothly. It’s always such a pleasure to work with great event planners; it makes my job so much easier. Thanks, y’all. Also, thanks to all the vendors who made the event so beautiful and special: Z Brothers DJ’s; Party Reflections; Best Impressions Caterers; Nona’s Sweets and Lee Artistry.
Congratulations, Jessica and Robert!
